Laurence Stephen Kynaston, also known as Laurie Kynaston, is a British actor born in 1994 in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England. He was raised in Llanfyllin, Wales, where he became interested in theater and co-founded the Lonely Tree Theatre Group. In 2014 he moved to London and made his TV debut on BBC’s hospital drama series “Casualty.” A year later, he landed a starring role as Danny Baker on the ITV mini-series “Cradle to Grave,” alongside Peter Kay and Lucy Speed. This appearance earned the young actor some attention and opened the door for movie roles, including the German horror production “Dear Agnes,” directed by Daniel Alfredson. In 2018, Kynaston landed his first film lead role with “Undercliffe,” a drama directed by Lisa Mulcahy, and co-starred by Mark Addy and Akbar Kurtha.
