Låpsley is an English singer, musician, songwriter and producer. She was born Holly Lapsley Fletcher on the 7th of August, 1996, in York, England. She started her musical career around 2013, and she released her self-recorded EP “Monday EP” on her SoundCloud. It got over half a million streams in the first few months and Lapsley won at Merseyside’s GIT in the category One to Watch. In 2016, she released her debut album “Long Way Home” through XL Recordings, which happens to be Adele’s label as well. Fellow artist Billie Eilish has stated that Låpsley’s song “Station” has been a major inspiration for her own song “Ocean Eyes”. Lapsley released her second album “Through Water” in 2020. She has performed at major festivals such as Glastobury.
