Lakeside is a funk band, originating in Ohio and forming in 1969, the members are currently Mark Wood, Thomas Shelby, Stephen Shockley, Marvin Craig, Fred Lewis and Fred Alexander Jr. The group’s first studio album is titled Lakeside and contains the hit ballad If I Didn’t Have You. The next album was called Shot of Love and has the funk song It’s All the Way Live and many soul ballads.

The groups highest charting album so far is the 1980 album Fantastic Voyage, regarded as their most successful album, it contains the hit track Your Love Is on the One and the ballads Say Yes and I Love Everything You Do. Some of their highest charting songs are 1980’s Fantastic Voyage the single 1984’s Outrageous.
