L-Fresh The Lion is an Australian-based singer, music artist and producer who was born in 1988. He is currently based in South West Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
L-Fresh The Lion is best known for his popular EPs: Wide Awake that was released in 2010 and Waiting that appeared in 2011. His debut LP The LION Speaks was released in 2012. When he turned twenty-one, he was selected as the national support act for hip-hop celebrity Nas, during Nas’ 2009 headline tour in Australia. He has also performed with a host of popular musicians including Xzibit, Public Enemy, Chali 2na, DJ Qbert, and MC Supernatural. He has also performed with Australian hip-hop artists like Urthboy, Pez & 360, Horrorshow, Drapht and Downsyde at the Sounds of Spring Festival, and The Herd, at their anniversary celebration in Sydney last year.
L-Fresh The Lion is also an ambassador of The Street University, where he works as a mentor and A&R coordinator of Australia’s largest youth drop-in centre.
