KLP is the stage name of Kristy Lee Peters, an Australian record producer, DJ, singer, songwriter and radio host. She is originally from Sydney and her interest in electronic music sparked at a young age. Her father runs a record label, so she grew up around musicians and music producers, and before graduating high school, she was performing as a DJ and recording her own tracks. Peters was the presenter on Triple J’s House Party show from 2015 to 2018. She has also performed in several electronic music festivals like Splendour in the Grass and the Falls Festival. She has composed music for the likes of Skrillex, banvox and Nicole Millar, besides making collaborations with the likes of REMI, Milwaukee Banks and many others.
