David Anthony Love, Jr. is an American musician more popularly known by his stage name, Kid Capri. Born on 7th February, 1967, Kid Capri grew up in the Bronx, New York City. Being the son of singer/musician David Love, Sr., Kid Capri had exposure to the music industry from a very young age. He started deejaying at the young age of 8.

In the late 80s, Kid started to DJ alongside Starchild at Studio54. He became widely known for his musical performances at Def Comedy Jam and later went on to release his first LP named The Tape with Warner Bros. Records in 1991. Kid Capri even started his own record label - No Kid’n Records.

Kid featured as a cameo in a few films like Who’s the Man? And A Get2Gether.
