Kelly Preston is an American television and movie actress, as well as a former model. She was born Kelly Kamalelehua Smith on the 13th of October 13, 1962, in Honolulu, Hawaii, U.S. She began her career as a model at sixteen years old when she started working in commercials. Her first major role came in 1985, in the comedy teen movie “Mischief”. She went on to play in several movies of the late 1980s, such as “SpaceCamp”, “Twins” alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito, and “Jerry Maguire” starring Tom Cruise. In 1997 she starred in “Nothing To Lose” alongside Tim Robbins and Martin Lawrence. In 2000 she played alongside her husband John Travolta in the movie “Battlefield Earth”. In 2008 she starred in the television film “The Tenth Circle” directed by Peter Markle.
