Kassi Ashton is a rising country music star hailing from ‘California, Missouri’ which is also the title of her 2018 debut single. Born on 3 February 1994, Ashton always had the creative aesthetic and artistic depth that saw her mastering both the art of singing and modeling. She started writing songs at a young age. Her remarkable talent won her the Belmont University’s annual Country Music Showcase and an internship at the publishing company Carnival Music in 2016. In 2017, Ashton signed with the record label UMG Nashville/Interscope diving headfirst into her music career and released her autobiographical single ‘California, Missouri’ that she co-wrote with Shane McAnally and Luke Laird. She has garnered an impressive following and fame with her soulful voice and confident delivery. She has also released another single ‘Violins’.
