I signed up for Booking Agent Info because I was having a hard time finding management and publicist info for artists that I wanted to interview for the publication that I write for. Rather than taking the time to dig through the internet, I can just go to Booking Agent Info and its all there for me. Kasey Kahne (born April 10, 1980 in Enumclaw, Washington, USA) is an American NASCAR and dirt track racing driver, best known for being named the 2004 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series Rookie of the Year.
After being in close proximity with his father’s sprint cars, Kasey became interested in racing at a young age. When he was 18, he began racing full-size sprint cars. In 2002, Kasey signed with Robert Yates racing, and ran in the NASCAR Busch Series. He got his first Busch Series win in 2003, at Homestead-Miami Speedway. In that same year, Kasey was chosen to replace Bill Elliott and drive for the No. 9 Dodge for Ray Evernham and Evernham Motorsports.
He captured his first Nextel Cup win on May 14, 2005 at Richmond International Speedway. Following his win, Kahne continued on his exciting NASCAR adventure. On October 9, 2018, Kahne announced on Twitter his intentions to sit out the remainder of the year, ending his 15-year career prematurely. On March 29, 2019, he was injured in a hard sprint car accident at Williams Grove Speedway, and replaced by Australian driver James McFadden. He did not race again for over a year, until the Knoxville Raceway on May 8, 2020, where he finished 11th in the last chance qualifier.
