On her YouTube channel, she showed numerous private situations, such as taking a pregnancy test, which piqued the curiosity of viewers. In 2009, Alloy received a Midwestern Regional Emmy Award in the Advanced Media Writer category from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, one of the three governing organisations that bestow Emmy Awards.
