Born Joshua Winslow Groban on February 27, 1981, Josh Groban has made an international name for himself for his opera-like voice and his dramatic covers of famous songs from all over the world. As a teenager, Josh Groban attended an Academy that allowed him to take regular classes during the day and theater classes in the late afternoon, where he was able to hone in on his singing ability. Under the influence of famous producer/arranger David Foster, Groban landed a recording contract with Warner Bros. Records, and after performing with some of the most well-known singers in the world. Josh Groban finally released his debut album Josh Groban in 2001, which went double-platinum, selling over 2 million copies.
Josh Groban has released 6 studio albums to date, included the 2003 album Closer, which has sold more than 6 million copies worldwide. He has lent his voice to countless soundtracks, including the song “Remember” from the movie Troy and “Believe” from the movie The Polar Express.
