Jayla Darden is a 21 year old R&B singer born in Detroit, Michigan. The artist moved to Atlanta to pursue her music career. She is a multi-faceted artist who writes, produces, mixes and masters all her songs. She began to self-release her music on Soundcloud once a month called her Ideas series from 2016-2018 including her EP, ‘118’. Her sweet voice and soft melodies garnered the attention of Sickamore from Interscope Records A&R Sickamore’s S!ck Projects. She was flown out from Atlanta to Los Angeles where she Jayla is now currently based. She released her debut EP in 2019 through Interscope Records titled ‘Onto Something’, the first release of A&R Sickamore’s S!ck Projects. Jayla is currently working on her next release with Interscope Records and currently has over 100,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
