Inna, also known as Elena Alexandra Apostoleanu, is a Romanian electro-pop singer born in Mangalia in 1986. She started singing at a young age, and by 2008 she was performing on national TV under the moniker Alexandra. Later that year she adopted the stage name Inna and released “Hot”, a #1 single in Romania that also became popular throughout Europe. After releasing her debut full-length album “Hot” in 2009, she received a distinction for Best Romanian Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards. Her sophomore effort, “I Am the Club Rocker”, went out two years later and featured collaborations by Flo Rida and Juan Magan. The album became a success in Belgium, the Czech Republic and Mexico. In 2013 the artist issued her third LP “Party Never Ends”, featuring the talents of Orange Factory and Daddy Yankee, among others. She also collaborated on a single by Pitbull. After signing with Atlantic in 2014, she released “Cola Song” in collaboration with J Balvin and got a massive online and social media response. Two years later she joined the Romanian supergroup G Girls, and in 2017 she released her third LP “Nirvana”.
