Grupo Fundo De Quintal, aka Fundo de Quintal, is a Brazilian Samba band formed in Rio de Janeiro at the end of the 1970s. They are the pioneers of the pagode style. It was founded by Almir Guineto, Ubirajara (Bira Presidente), Jorge Aragão, Neoci, Sereno, Sombrinha and Ubirany. They released their first album Samba É No Fundo de Quintal in 1980. Up to 2000, the group recorded 19 albums and has won several prizes, including nine Sharp awards. Several of their albums have achieved gold and platinum record status. Some of their popular hits include Vai Na Conversa Dela, E Eu Não Fui Convidado, Só Pra Contrariar, Boca Sem Dente, Miudinho, Parabéns Pra Você, and many others. Their songs have also been adopted as themes for widely popular soap operas.
