Griff is an English singer and songwriter, born as Sarah Faith Griffiths on January 21, 2001, in Kings Langley, United Kingdom. She is best known for her 2019 debut EP Mirror Talk, which features the single Paradise that was the U.K. Top Ten. She was inspired to start writing and producing music by Taylor Swift's 2008 album Fearless. She started learning music production by watching YouTube tutorials and adopted the stage name, Griff. In July 2019, she was signed by Warner Records, and Joe Kentish, who also brought Dua Lipa to the label. She released a series of hit singles in 2020, including collaboration with British duo Honne on 1,000,000 X Better and a duet with Zedd titled Inside Out. In 2021, Griff received the Brit Award for Rising Star.
