Göksel Demirpençe (who’s popularly known as Goksel) is a Turkish singer-songwriter who was born on November 25th 1971 in Istanbul, Turkey. She was born and raised in Turkey. She once studied Philosophy at the Boğaziçi University.

Göksel released her debut album Yollar (meaning Roads) in 1997 which featured the single Sabir which was a big hit. Her sophomore album Körebe appeared in 2001 which uncovered the successful single Depresyondayım. Söz ver followed in 2003. She collaborated with the band maNga to release the duet Dursun Zaman which appeared as a soundtrack in the film Sinav. Some of her her singles include Dursun zaman (2004 feat. maNga), Hiç Yok (2019) and Bu da Geçecek (2019).
