Gabriela Spanic is a Venezuelan singer and actress born on 10th December 1973 in Caracas, Venezuela. She is famous for her roles in multiple Latin telenovelas, especially her portrayal of twins in 1998 telenovela, "La usurpadora," a popular telenovela in the Spanish-speaking world. She is also signed to Telemundo, Televisa, and TV Azteca.
She began her career in 1992 after joining the Miss Venezuela contest. This served as an entry point into acting, making appearances "Morena Clara." In 1994, she got her first leading role alongside Eduardo Luna and Miguel de León in "Como Tu Ninguna." She moved to Mexico in 1997 and was involved in several telenovelas including “La usurpadora” (1998), “Por Tu Amor” (1999), “La venganza” (2002), and “Prisionera” (2004). She co-hosted the OTI Festival (2000). In 2010, she was the main antagonist in “Soy tu Dueña.” Spanic won the FAMAS Award for Best Actress for her role in "Tierra de Pasiones."
