Gabby began her active political career in 2001 when she was elected to the Arizona House of Representatives. She went on to have an eventful career, serving as the Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Arizona's 8th district, a Member of the Arizona Senate from the 28th district, and a Member of the Arizona House of Representatives from the 13th district. In the early 2010s, Gabby became an activist for gun control.
