From First to Last is an American post-hardcore and alternative rock band from Tampa, Florida. From First to Last formed in 1999 by band members Matt Good, Scott Oord and Parker Nelms. In 2002, Matt Good joined band The Color of Violence where he met guitarist Travis Richter who later joined the band along with the recruitment of lead vocalist Philip Reardon and drummer Derek Bloom. The band released their first EP in 2003 titled ‘Aesthetic’ under Four Leaf Recordings, leading to their signing with Epitaph Records. In 2004, Good met vocalist and guitarist Sonny Moore on MySpace who joined From First to Last for their EP, ‘Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has A Body Count’ followed by their 2006 album, ‘Heroine’. Moore eventually left the band in 2007 and produced solo work as an electronic artist/DJ under the moniker Skrillex. From First to Last went on to record without Moore and were picked up by Suretone Records and went on a headlining tour called RATHER BE SLAYIN’ N00BZ along with touring on the Vans Warped Tour in 2008 and the Hot Topic Take Action Tour. Their fourth studio album, ‘Throne to the Wolves’ was released in 2010 before the band decided to go on a hiatus. By 2015, the band added a new lead vocalist, Spencer Sotelo, and released a fifth album titled ‘Dead Trees’. By 2017, Moore/Skrillex rejoined the band and are currently working on the release of their sixth album.
