Francesca Lombardo, also known as Jackie Misfit, is an Italian electronic music producer, DJ and musician. She was born on the 27th of August, 1978, in Castiglione delle Stiviere, Lombardy, Italy. She studied music from a young age and she graduated from the Conservatorium of Music in piano and vocal techniques. In the late 1990s, she moved to London to pursue a career in the electronic local scene. She started performing as a DJ at clubs and underground parties and soon she earned her first residency at a UK Techno night. In 2007, she co-founded the label Lokomotiv Recordings alongside fellow Italian DJ Achille Soardi. Three years later, Lombardo launched her own label, Echolette. She released her debut solo EP “Kundi la Mapendo” as Jackie Misfit a few months later. She has performed at major music festivals around the world, like Burning Man and DC10 in Ibiza.
