Flatland Cavalry is a country and Americana band formed in Lubbock, Texas in 2012. The current members of the band are Cleto Cordero on vocals, Reid Dillon on guitar, Jonathan Saenz on bass guitar, Wesley Hall on violin, and Jason Albers on drums. The band was formed in 2012 by Cleto Cordero and Jason Albers while they were roommates in college in Midland. Before forming the band the two performed together and by 2014 they had the rest of the band members together. In 2015 they released their debut EP titled Come May. The EP was released thanks to their fans helping them crowdfund the project. In 2016 they released their debut studio album titled Humble Folks. The album charted at number 17 on the Billboard Americana/folk Albums chart and number 38 on the Top Country Albums chart. In 2019 they released their second studio album titled Homeland Insecurity.
