Filmore is the stage name for the American country singer Tyler Filmore. Filmore was born and raised in Wildwood, Missouri, but is currently based out of Nashville Tennessee. He is known for blending elements of pop, electronic and country music. He became well known in 2018 after the release of his single “Slower.” Filmore grew up singing in his church choir and local singing groups. While in college he formed a band, also named Filmore, that became well known regionally and released two albums. In 2011 he moved to Nashville, Tennessee to make it as a solo artist. He released his debut EP in 2015 and followed it up in 2016 with the release of his debut album titled Proof. In 2018 he released his breakthrough single “Slower” which received millions of streams online. His follow up single “Love That About You” was also received well.
