Fences is an American indie rock band formed in Seattle, Washington. It is composed of lead vocalist and guitarist Christopher Mansfield, a guitarist called Benjamin Greenspan, and the bassist and vocalist Lindsey Starr, together with drummer Elliott Garm Chaffee. The band originated when frontman Chris Mansfield caught the attention of Sara Quin, from Canadian Duo Tegan and Sara, and later recorded the band’s first debut album, also named “Fences” after their band name, in 2014. In 2015, they released their second album, “Lesser”. The track “Arrows” from their second album features Ryan Lewis and Macklemore.
