Eric Hansen (born on May 24, 1992, in Irvine) is a Canadian chess grandmaster and renowned Twitch streamer. He also co-runs a chess-based YouTube channel, ChessBrah, with fellow Grandmaster Aman Hambleton.

Hansen's talent became evident at age 9 and by 15, he had already secured the title of Alberta champion and earned the title of FIDE Master (FM). During the 40th Chess Olympiad in 2012, Hansen's grandmaster norms culminated, solidifying his position as the second-youngest Canadian grandmaster. By January 2013, FIDE officially awarded him the grandmaster title.

In 2016, Hansen revealed his battle with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), a challenge he overcame with determination and perseverance. Again, Hansen recorded another feat when he won against World Champion Magnus Carlsen and the 2021 challenger Ian Nepomniachtchi during the Airthings Masters online tournament in February 2022.
