Emma Louise Slater was born on December 25, 1988 in Tamworth, Staffordshire. She is a professional dancer and choreographer. Her training started when she was 10. At 15, she appeared in the music video, “Round Here”, produced by Bikini Film. She enrolled as a member of Dancing with the Stars in its 14th season. In 2005, at age 16, she won the British under 21 American Championships. In 2006, she won the United Kingdom under 21 Latin American Championship in England. She was the principal dancer ballroom supervisor of Dancing Dirty in 2007, principal dancer in Latin Fever in 2008, and the lead dancer in Burn the Floor from 2009 to 2011.
She featured in the movie Mamma Mia! in 2008. She came out as the winner of the 24th season of the show Dancing with the Stars with her partner Rashad Jennings after six seasons of trying. She is presently in the 25th season with her partner Drew Scott.
