Emin Araz Oglu Agalarov (popularly known as Emin) is an Azerbaijan-born entrepreneur, singer and songwriter who was born on December 12th 1979 in Baku, Azerbaijan. Emin spent his childhood in various countries due to his father’s multiple real estate deals.

Emin later relocated to Moscow, then studied in Switzerland before moving to New Jersey. He performed in rock & roll bands before studying Business and Management at the New York University. Emin later set up his own boutique store on Madison Avenue and became the commercial director for Moscow’s Crocus Group. He was later mentored in 2005 by Muslim Magomayev when he decided to pursue a music career. His debut album Still dropped in that year.

Soon he released Incredible (2007), Obsession (2008) and Devotion (2009). Amidst his other releases, his collaboration with Nile Rodgers in Boomerang rose to become a Top Ten hit on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart.
