Hailing from Grande Prairie, Alberta, Emerson Drive, formerly known as 12 Gauge, is a Canadian music band that performs country music. The make-up of the band has changed over the years, but it currently consists of Brad Mates on lead vocals, Canick Dupelle on guitars and vocals, Dale Wallace on keyboard and vocals, and Mike Melancon on drums. The band was formed in 1995, but they became famous in 2001 with the release of their hit singles Fall Into Me and I Should Be Sleeping. Their hit single Moments peaked at number one on the Billboards Singles Charts. Their discography includes the hit singles Just Got Paid, She’s My Kind of Crazy, The Road, That Kind of Beautiful, and the albums What If?, Countrified, Believe, and Roll. Emerson Drive has won numerous awards including Billboard Magazine Year-End Award for Top New Artist and Canadian Country Music Association Awards for Group or Duo of the Year, Album of the Year, Single of the Year, and Chevy Trucks Rising Star Award.
