Elina Löwensohn is an actress born on July 11, 1966, in Bucharest, Romania. She has appeared in multiple films, videos, photos, performances, and theater plays. Elina studied acting in New York City and played in several successful theater productions. She started her film career in 1991 with Theory of Achievement.
Elina starred as Iris in Six Ways to Sunday and Anne Levels in The Wisdom of Crocodiles. She was a nominee for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead in 1996. Elina has also appeared on Arte Journal, The Jon Stewart Show, and Signé Croisette. She has collaborated with Marceline Delbecq, Tom de Beijing, and Bertrand Mandico.
