In 2015, Kotz released his first EP, “Simmer Down,” receiving critical praise from British club magazine Mixmag. Signed to the Black Butter Records label, Kotz’s music mixes everyday sounds of household objects, including ice cracking, things falling, and voice samples, and uses them for fodder in his production sound library.
Like many one-man acts in electronic music, Elderbrook is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, singer, songwriter, and experimental artist in every way, making surprisingly diverse tunes and remixes.
