LUIS ANTONIO LPEZ FLORES, better known as EL MIMOSO, was born in Concordia, Sinaloa, on November 21, 1979. His parents, José Cruz López Salazar and Guadalupe Flores Rodrguez, realized that he had a talent for singing from an early age in his home Concordia.
He attended Josefa Ortiz de Domnguez Elementary School, where he missed a year owing to an accident and the multiple burns he sustained.
At the age of thirteen, when he entered Venustiano Carranza High School, his restlessness and desire to sing intensified to the point where he began to disregard his studies in order to meet the first group that called him to sing.
After leaving high school, he ventured into music proper, and has been making waves since then.
