Hailing from London is the electronic music group Dusky, which is comprised of Alfie Granger-Howell and Nick Harriman. The duo formed in the late 2000s, and are known for their diverse sound which incorporates melodies and piano riffs with the beats of electric and house music. In 2011, the duo released their debut single “Lost in You”, which featured vocals from Janai, and was hailed as a fun summer song with depth. They followed the initial success of the single with the release of their 2011 album Stick By This through the label Anjunadeep, which is the imprint owned by Above & Beyond. Two years after the release of their first album, the duo released a total of four EPs in 2012, and later, three EPs in 2013. The title track to their Careless EP shot to the number one slot on Beatport shortly after its release.
