Dua Saleh is a Sudanese-American music producer, DJ, songwriter and actor born in Kassala, Sudan and who later immigrated to the U.S. They began their musical experimentation from a very young age, and they also enjoyed writing poetry and songs. During their college years they made their first demo and they soon began to work with producer Psymun, performing multiple live shows together. Saleh debuted with their first EP “Nur” in 2019, a five-track set released by Against Giants that received rave reviews from Pitchfork and Robert Christgau. A video was made for the song “Warm Pants” and for two other songs in that same year. The singles “Sugar Mama” and “Pretty Kitten” were a total hit, receiving very positive reviews.
