Drama is a duo created by Via Rosa in the vocals and Na'el Shehade in 2014. Via Rosa was a singer, songwriter, and producer living in Chicago in 2010, where she recorded with the hip-hop collective THEMpeople, a group which eventually led her to connect with Shehade, a Chicago native entrepreneurial spirit. Shehade had made collaborations with the likes of Kanye West. The duo came together to release a debut single, “Hope's Up” in September 2015, including the “Gallows” EP, issued a year later in 2016. Drama came back in May 2018 with “Lies After Love”, their second EP. The following year, Rosa and Shehade signed to Ghostly International, which launched Drama's first full-length album, “Dance Without Me”, in February 2020.
