DJ and EDM producer Don Diablo was born Don Pepijn Schipper in the Netherlands on February 27, 1980. He landed his first record deal when he was 15 years old, eventually formulating his own label a decade later which he called Sellout Sessions. The original tracks which propelled him to national fame included “Who’s Your Daddy”, “Hooligans”, and “Animale”. Since releasing those tracks in the late 2000s, Don Diablo has had the opportunity to tour internationally in the United States, Australia, the UK, Brazil, Japan, and other countries, and has also made numerous appearances at various festivals. He has also been known to create tracks and remixes for artists such as Diplo, Tinie Tempah, Gorillaz, and Kelis, among others. Don Diablo released two albums of his own: 2 Faced in 2004 and Life Is a Festival in 2008. His highest-charting track as of 2014 was his club hit “Starlight (Could You Be Mine)”, which peaked at the #3 position in 2013 in the Netherlands.
