DJ Deniz Koyu known by his stage name as KO:YU was born on April 29th, 1985 in Bochum, Germany. At the age of 5, Deniz started playing the piano and this sparked his love for music.

In 2011, Deniz started DJing at clubs and became more and more famous because of his high energy, unique sound, and perfect productions. Deniz is also a producer and the host of Soundcheck Radio, a weekly radio show. In 2012, Deniz went on tour with his own bus. Danny Avila accompanied him. The tour included shows in 25 cities in North America over the course of only four weeks.

The talented DJ has created remixes of songs by artists like David Guetta and Zedd.
