Demetrius West is a musician, minister, and choir director from Indianapolis, Indiana. Inspired by his many teachers, including his great-grandmother, West embarked on a journey to create and promote gospel music. In 2004, he assisted many choirs, groups, soloists, and musicians. He has worked with the groups Reflections of God Chorale and Authority on their respective albums, It Happened in Worship and I Am a Worshipper. In 2015, West formed the Jesus Promoter to help him create his critically acclaimed album, Jesus Promoter. West and the Jesus Promoter signed with Black Smoke Records and released their next album, ChoirOlogy, in 2018. The group has performed on stage with the likes of Earnest Pugh, Kirk Franklin, and Chris Tomlin. West was named the Minister of Music and Arts of the Westside Missionary Baptist Church.
