Coming from San Francisco Bay Area, California, Death Angel plays thrash metal and funk metal music. They became famous making thrash metal music during the 1980s. Composed of blood-related members, Death Angel was formed by cousins Mark Osegueda for vocals, Rob Cavestany for lead guitars, Gus Pepa for rhythm guitar, Dennis Pepa as bassist, and Andy Galeon as drummer.
Their first recording was the 1986 “Kill as One.” Back then, their drummer Galeon was just 14 years of age. Then their first album “The Ultra-Violence” was released under Enigma Records label. Then, “Frolic Through the Park” followed next year. Their latest release was “The Evil Divide” which was their eighth studio long-player.
