David Puentez (born Benjamin Beyer on September 12, 1985, in Heilbronn) is a German DJ and music producer. In 2018, he made the jump from the clubs to the general charts. He rose to prominence thanks to official remixes for Post Malone, Rita Ora, and Tiesto, among others.

David Puentez began his career as a DJ when he was 18 years old. During a family vacation to Ibiza when he was 15 years old, he made his first contacts with DJs and was inspired as a result.

Puentez chose "David" as part of his artist name since his parents couldn't decide between Benjamin and David when he was born. He saw a DJ named Fuentez on a flyer in Ibiza and decided to call him "David Puentez.
