David Morales is an American DJ, a Grammy award-winning record producer, songwriter, and businessman. He was born to Puerto-Rican parents on August 21, 1962 in Brooklyn, New York. David is one of America’s premier mixers and producers.

He honed his skills as a DJ through the ‘80s and ‘90s in clubs such as the Ozone Layer, Paradise Garage, Red Zone, Zanzibar, Tunnel and Club USA. His famed career kicked off in the later ‘90s with the release of The Program, his debut album. In the late 90's he recorded the groundbreaking Needin’ U under the alia David Morales Presents The Face. His second album 2 Worlds Collide arrived in 2005 while Changes, his third album, landed in 2011.

Between the release of the albums were hundreds of famously successful remixes. David was nominated for the Grammy Award in 1996 for producing the song Fantasy in Mariah Carey’s Daydream album. Two years later he won the grammy for Remixer of the Year, 1998.
