DaniLeigh is an R&B singer, songwriter, director, actor and dancer who is well known for having been chosen by Prince to star, write and direct the music video for his hit single Breakfast Can Wait when she was eighteen. Prior to this she had been dancing professionally since childhood, working for singers such as Pharrell and Nelly Furtado.
Mentored by Prince, Curiel signed with Def Jam and has recently debuted her first album Summer with Friends. Despite the influence of the late great Prince, Denileigh is known for her distinct sound that pays homage to her Dominican heritage and mixes Latin with hip-hop with trap. Â So far her album has been an underground hit and she is rising to fame thanks to social media.
