Daniel Kang is a South Korean musical artist and entrepreneur who became famous after he appeared in the South Korean reality talent show Produce 101. He was born in Busan, South Korea, on December 10, 1996. He began his musical career as the frontman of the South Korean boy band Wanna One who broke onto the South Korean music scene when they won the second season of Produce 101. In 2019, Daniel released his first solo studio project Color on Me. His discography includes the singles Paranoia, What Are You Up To, State of Wonder, and Waves featuring Simon Dominic and Jamie. Daniel’s music has been featured on the official soundtrack of the TV series Backstreet Rookie and on Monstercat’s album Monstercat Instinct Vol. 7. He has won numerous awards including an APAN Music Award for Best Performance, an Asia Artist Award for Best Musician, and a Seoul Music Award.
