Daniel Hope is an African-born master violinist and writer who was born on August 17, 1973, in Durban, South Africa. His father Christopher Hope was a poet and novelist and his family moved to England when Daniel was six months old. Daniel then took up the violin as a boy under the supervision of Sheila Nelson and later went on to study at the Royal College of Music. He also studied in Hamburg under Zakhar Bron and got degrees from the Royal Academy of Music in London.
Hope joined the Beaux Arts Trio in 2002 as a permanent member and worked hard to produce the group’s fairly conservative repertoire with works by composers like György Kurtág and Mark-Anthony Turnage. Two years later Hope won three major awards for his recording of Berg and Britten concertos. He later served in the Savannah Music Festival as the assistant artistic director and since 2010 as Artistic Partner at Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Some of Hope’s albums include the 2012's Vivaldi Recomposed (in which his creative partner was composer Max Richter) and 2017's For Seasons.
In 2016 Daniel served as a TV presenter for Eurovision Young Musicians, the classical-music arm of the Eurovision Song Contest. He recorded the most for the Deutsche Grammophon label, releasing his 2020 album Belle Époque and Hope@Home with them. He released three albums in 2021.

I signed up for Booking Agent Info because I was having a hard time finding management and publicist info for artists that I wanted to interview for the publication that I write for. At first I was really skeptical about things, I didn't know if the site was trustworthy. But I'm really glad I signed up! Rather than taking the time to dig through the internet, I can just go to Booking Agent Info and its all there for me. The site is very straightforward and any information I need is easy to search for.
