He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and from the age of 5 he began his musical career with a gospel group that he made with his family. With his music he has visited Mexico, the Dominican Republic, The Bahamas, and the Cayman Islands. Legget signed with Houston Texas Worldwide Gospel in 2000 and began producing many hits with them. His debut album “You Can't Straddle the Fence” was produced in 2000, which includes hits like “Long as I Got Shoes” and “Do Right (How You Gonna Do Right with a Do Wrong Mind)”. Some of his most successful singles are “I won't be defeated”, “Because of You” and “Make a Way”.
