Currensy began his career in music as a member of the rap group the 504 Boyz in 2002, and it was not until 2009 that he would release his first solo album “This Ain’t No Mixtape”. A series of solo and collaborative albums with a number of different artist would follow, featuring singles such as 2012’s “Jet Life” and 2015’s “Bottom of the Bottle”.
