Coastcity is an artist-production music duo that was formed in 2016 in the United States by Jean Rodriguez and Danny Flores, two multi-talented musicians who created an avant-garde bilingual musical project.

The duo produced the Spanish version of Hey Ma, the hit track by Pitbull, J. Balvin and Camila Cabello in 2017. Their music video (of their Spanish version) grossed over 400 million views on YouTube, and got the song nominated for a Latin Grammy. Coastcity’s fame went astronomical which saw them working with some very popular artists like Beyonce, Shakira, Luis Fonsi, J. Balvin, Marc Anthony, Prince Royce, Chris Brown, Juanes, TreySongz and Yandel.

As of 2017, the duo has grossed three Latin Grammy nominations. And they worked on Shakira’s El Dorado album that was nominated for a Grammy.
