Chris Stuckmann (born April 15, 1988 in Akron, Ohio) is an American YouTuber, film critic, filmmaker and author, best known as a member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association and for his self-titled YouTube channel where he posts quick, funny reviews of movies and games.

Prior to working on his YouTube channel, Struckmann worked as an aid to handicapped children for Akron Public Schools. His love for movies caught fire in 2002 when his mother took him to see the movie "Signs".

Inspired by other films like Star Wars, Back to the Future, and The Princess Bride, Struckmann nursed a dream to make his own movies. At the age of 14, Stuckmann received a camcorder from his mother. With the camcorder in his possession, Struckmann partnered with his friends and made hundreds of short films, including two feature length films.

Eventually, when YouTube was introduced in 2005, Struckmann envisioned it as a great opportunity to share his works with others. On January 6, 2011, Struckmann created his YouTube channel and started posting blog type videos on film criticism. After a few years, he released a criticism video of the movie Dragonball Evolution, branding it as his least favorite movie of all time. He followed up the review with many more spoiler-free reviews and consequently picked up millions of subscribers on his YouTube channel.

He also began contributing on "Rotten Tomatoes," and in March 2016, released his first book, titled ‘The Film Buff's Bucket List: The 50 Movies of the 2000s to See Before You Die’. His second book, Anime Impact: The Movies and Shows that Transformed the World of Japanese Animation, was released in April 2018.
