Sheldon Young (popularly known as Channel Tres) is an American producer, DJ, musician and artist born and raised in Compton, California, United States. Channel was one of the first artists signed to Godmode Music. He fell in love with music when he stumbled on The Love Below; he was just nine at the time.
Channel got famous by collaborating in the hit releases with Bridge on Break the Rules and An Xtra Uugly mixtape. He recorded and released Demos on his own which was a remix of Aaron Child’s Tangerine (released in 2018). Later that year Channel recorded and released Controller with Nick Sylvester. He released the singles Brilliiant Nigga and Sexy Black Timberlake in 2019 and the EP Black Moses followed in August of the same year.
He released I Can’t Go Outside in 2020 featuring Tyler, The Creator and Tinashe.
