Barry Adrian Reese was born on the 7th of July,1982, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. The rapper, who is popularly called Cassidy or The Hustler, is also a composer and an actor.

He gained the attention of fellow rappers when he got involved in various freestyles and rap battles in the late 90s.

In 2002, Swizz Beatz discovered Cassidy and signed him to Full Record space. He eventually made it to the limelight when he featured R.kelly in a single titled ‘Hotel’, which made the top 10 on the US Billboard hot 100 charts.

In 2004, he released his debut album titled ‘split personality, which also did exceptionally well, reaching the second spot on the US Billboard chart and certified platinum.

The hotel crooner believes that rap is a way of passing your message without having to disturb anybody. Cassidy has dropped other studio albums that were widely accepted by his fans.
