American Idol alumni, Casey James is a talented southern country singer. He was born on 31 May, 1982, in Texas. He started playing the guitar when he was merely 13 years old, and soon made a career out of his passion. He formed his band in 2008 with his friend and brother in tow. The country star auditioned for American Idol during its 09th season and it turned his career around. He finished 3rd on the show, but not before creating a loyal fan base. In 2010 he signed with 19 Recordings, and by 2012 released his debut album “Casey James” that reached 23 on Billboard charts.
