The lead singer in the Casey Donahew Band, he and his group began a career playing in local bars before moving into the recording studio. Despite being successful, the group is known for keeping to its roots and keeping their Texas sound.

With six albums released thus far, their latest, titled Double-Wide Dream, StandOff and All Night Party, their albums have consistently charted high with singles such as Let Me Love You, Double Wide Dream, Whiskey Baby, Kiss Me and Country Song, the band has established themselves as a true Texas grown sound. Donahew, as a front man has also established himself as the driving success behind the band as a whole.
